The use of Hawthorn in its many forms can be traced back to the Middle ages, with some records dating back to the First Century herbalist Dioscorides of Greece! Celtic mythology uses Hawthorn as a symbol of love and protection. The berries also make an amazing tea, having a tart and sweet flavor.
