Cocoa, powder, Organic


Cocoa powder comes from cocoa beans from the cacao tree. Seeds are fermented, roasted, ground, pressed to remove fat, then ground again. Our cocoa is alkalized, which means its natural bitter flavor has been softened into a smooth, mild chocolate flavor. The powder is often used in baked goods, but it can also be used in certain savory dishes, including homemade chili.
